1. Program description
The Lubavitch Educational Center (LEC) text message program sends informational and operational messages to parents, members, and supporters who have opted in. Messages may include school notices, dismissal and schedule updates, event reminders, registration information, form/payment reminders, and occasional community and fundraising updates.
2. How to opt in
You opt in by submitting your mobile number and checking the consent box on our sign-up page at sms.lec.li, or by providing written consent on an LEC enrollment or registration form. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of enrollment, purchase, or any service.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on school and community activity.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Charges are billed by, and payable to, your mobile service provider. Contact your carrier for details of your plan.
5. Opt out
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP (other accepted keywords: CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, STOPALL). After you send the message, we will send a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and will receive no further messages. To rejoin, sign up again as you did the first time or reply START.
6. Help
For help, reply HELP or INFO to any message, or contact us at (305) 653-8770 or office@lecfl.com. Replying HELP returns instructions and our contact information.
7. Carriers
Supported carriers include major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission from your wireless service provider.
8. Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. Mobile opt-in information and consent are never shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision.
